These terms apply when you use the CV Civets website or place an order for an agreed service. A confirmed written quote or order may contain additional service-specific terms.

Service Scope

• CV Civets provides CV, cover-letter, LinkedIn profile, career-document, and job-application assistance as described in the selected package or confirmed quote.
• CV Civets is not a recruitment agency and does not place candidates in jobs.
• Advertised packages, prices, inclusions, turnaround estimates, and availability may change. The scope confirmed for your order governs the service provided.

Restricted Packages and Supporting Proof

The Next Step rate is intended for current Grade 12 learners and people who completed school, college, or university within the previous 12 months. Reasonable proof may include a school report, matric or NSC certificate, academic transcript, completion letter, or qualification certificate. Unnecessary identity numbers and marks may be redacted. If the client is under 18, a parent, guardian, or other competent person should authorise the submission of personal information and supporting documents.

User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, lawful, and non-misleading information.
• Review drafts and final documents and promptly identify factual errors or required corrections.
• Do not ask us to submit false information or impersonate you in an application.
• Use this website only for legitimate enquiries and service requests.

Turnaround and Revisions

Turnaround times are estimates and depend on current availability, the agreed service, and receipt of the information needed to begin. Revision allowances are limited to those stated in the selected package or confirmed quote. Rush work is subject to availability.

No Employment Guarantee

We aim to improve the clarity, presentation, and relevance of career documents and applications. We cannot guarantee an interview, job offer, salary outcome, ATS result, portal ranking, or response from an employer or recruiter. Hiring decisions and third-party platform rules remain outside our control.

Intellectual Property

Once supplied under an agreed order, your final career documents are for your own professional use. Website design, branding, articles, package descriptions, and other site content remain protected and may not be copied or republished without permission.

Website Availability and Liability

We aim for accurate information and uninterrupted service, but do not guarantee that the website will always be error-free or continuously available. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.

Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, POPIA Notice, and Cookie Policy.
